Q: Why did you buy a guitar when you are a keyboardist?
A: I’ve been feeling a little stale with my instrument, particularly in my songwriting, and I thought picking up the guitar might help inspire me.
Q: What kind of guitar is it?
A: A Yamaha acoustic.
Q: How much did it cost?
A: None of your business. (But not very much.)
Q: Did you get a hard-shell case with it?
A: Yes.
Q: Did you get the guitar you actually wanted?
A: Nope.
Q: What was the guitar you actually wanted?
A: A thousand-dollar Breedlove with built-in pickup and on-board EQ and tuner, case included.
Q: Why did you settle for a stupid Yamaha acoustic?
A: First–MONEY. Second–I’m primarily using this instrument to learn on. I’ll save the more expensive kind for when I’m ready to play live.
Q: Do your fingertips on your left hand hurt from playing your new guitar?
A: Yes.
Q: What accessories did you get with your guitar?
A: Picks, an extra set of strings, a guitar strap, a guitar humidifier, a clean rag, and fretboard oil.
Q: Did you get the extended warranty?
A: No.
Q: Why not?
A: It’s a cheap guitar.
Q: Where are you playing? I want to hear you play guitar.
A: Patience, patience.
Good for you!
Yay. Does your hand cramp? My hand always cramped when playing the guitar–even before the fingertips blistered. Good luck!
Kool,
Not much in the way of hand cramping. Maybe I’m doing it wrong. 🙂
