That’s right, folks…it’s BLOG COMMENT DAY!!! (Sorry for shouting…hard to contain the excitement ’round here…)
Actually, it’s okay if you don’t know it’s Blog Comment Day. Apparently, this is the very first one. But it is my opinion that we don’t have nearly enough holidays between Thanksgiving and Christmas, so I’m all for this.
Blog Comment Day is the brainchild of John Smulo. Here’s what he says about it:
Though there may be 100 reasons why people blog, I’ve yet to meet a blogger who doesn’t appreciate comments. For this reason I’m starting Blog Comment Day on December 3, 2008. Here’s how it works:
- On December 3, 2008 you will leave one comment on at least 5 different blogs.
- Out of the 5 blogs you comment on, at least 2 of them will be blogs you haven’t commented on previously.
So if you haven’t yet commented on this blog…love to hear from you! And if you have commented before…love to hear from you! (But make sure you do a first time comment on at least two blogs today. I know I will.)
So…a post about blog comments, inviting you to comment on blog commenting….
(Don’t leave me hanging here….)
I guess everyday is comment day for me 🙂
KB,
You betchee. And glad of it, bro. 🙂
Hey Jeff,
This is my first time to comment on your blog, although I read it often and enjoy it. Have a great day!
Hm.. sounds like fun to me!
Jeff, I guess I will finally say something. I have been following your blog through others. So now that it is a “holiday” between “Holidays”. I just want to say hello from Conway, Arkansas.
Steven Owen
Comments on my blog entries keep me motivated to keep blogging! Sometimes, all a writer needs is one reader.
While I sometimes write about faith on my blog, I also write about other things. My most recent post is a retrospective of my favorite game show. Yes, game show.
That’s funny. I think I’ve commented on your blog before…but, since research seems to indicate that bloggers love comments…I’ll leave you another one! 😀
Hi Jeff,
So now I know why you commented on my blog. 🙂 I’m feel honored to be one of The Chosen.
In return, I just want to mention that I really enjoy reading what you have to say and hearing what God is doing in your life. I always come away with something to think on and ponder.
Set Free,
Thanks! Great to hear from you.
M-I-T,
It is fun. Loads of fun. I’m having a blast right this very minute… 🙂
Steven,
Thanks for the greetings from Conway, for chiming in…and for reading.
Jim Grey,
I live for comments (good ones, of course)…which is why I probably need counseling. 🙂
Thanks.
Kelly,
The research is correct, and you have just increased my self-esteem by 6.4 percent. Thanks! 🙂
Angela,
You caught me. Good to hear from you, and good to read what is happening in your life as well. God bless.
*COMMENT* :O)
