I’ll be offline for the next few days. The Wild One and I are going out of town. I know this might be devastating for the thousands dozens several of you who have become addicted to this blog; so I’ve come up with a little homework for you–just a few things that would be good for you to do to pass the time while I am away…

  1. If you haven’t yet done so, please read my blog postings “What Is Church? A Personal History” and “What Is Church? part 2”. These are a test excerpt from a book I’m working on. Feel free to read and leave comments on either or both entries.
  2. Please support our blogger friends who are going to Uganda this week by clicking one of the Uganda links on the sidebar, and helping out if you can.
  3. There are some interesting blogs on my blogroll; if you haven’t done so yet…check them out.
  4. Check out some of my other web pages found on the sidebar under “Other places to find me on the web.”
  5. If you scroll far enough down the page, there is some recommended reading on the sidebar; clicking on a link takes you to Amazon, where you can order the book. (You can even read excerpts online from some of the books.) Think about adding one or more of these books to your library.

So you see? There’s an awful lot you can do on this page while I am not writing entries. I’ll be back late Thursday or early Friday. God bless.

Musician. Composer. Recovering perfectionist. Minister-in-transition. Lover of puns. Hijacker of rock song references. Questioner of the status quo. I'm not really a rebel. Just a sincere Christ-follower with a thirst for significance that gets me into trouble. My quest has taken me over the fence of institutional Christianity. Here are some of my random thoughts along the way. Read along, join in the conversation. Just be nice.
