Step 1: Cry out to God.

Step 2: Trust God when things don’t make sense. (If trust is a problem, see Step 1.)

Steps 3-7: See Steps 1 and 2.

Just one more example of how God has been simplifying my faith. 🙂

Musician. Composer. Recovering perfectionist. Minister-in-transition. Lover of puns. Hijacker of rock song references. Questioner of the status quo. I'm not really a rebel. Just a sincere Christ-follower with a thirst for significance that gets me into trouble. My quest has taken me over the fence of institutional Christianity. Here are some of my random thoughts along the way. Read along, join in the conversation. Just be nice.

    Co-heir,
Oh, yeah, I forgot that part. If I can find a way to make the book longer than a page, I'll consider adding it. 😀

Sometimes I grow weary in crying out to God. I often think He gets tired of hearing from me, or that He's up in Heaven yelling, "Oh, put a sock in it, Abby, and grow up, already!", but deep within me, I know this isn't true. Thank you, also, for simplifying faith in Father.
