Sorry for neglecting this here blog…unintentional, I assure you. In case anyone’s been wondering, here’s a brief update on where I’ve been, and stuff.

I mentioned a couple of posts back that I had agreed to fill in temporarily leading worship for the congregation I was helping out when I first moved here. Their worship leader (the one who replaced me) has moved out of state, and the church hasn’t settled yet on a new candidate, so I’m holding the fort, as it were. As my paid freelance writing workload has continued to increase, Sunday mornings had become my weekly “time” to blog here, to process thoughts and reflect. Now, for the time being, my Sunday mornings are occupied as they once were–with loading equipment, rehearsing, and leading worship for a congregation. I’ve agreed to be available at least through Easter.

So, in a manner of speaking, you could say I’ve given up my Sundays for Lent. 😀

Yeah, so there are six other days of the week in which to blog. Buuutt…around the same time this happened, I also picked up a huge new writing assignment, and I’m still working on the learning curve, time management, etc.–which means I haven’t yet found an alternate time to blog here. (I really don’t have time to do this now–I’m making the time, just for you. Don’t you feel privileged?)

🙂

Anyhoo, the fact that I don’t have a lot of time to blog does NOT mean I don’t have things to say…so watch for more profundities here soon. Meanwhile it appears some of my readers (perhaps new ones) have been scouring through back posts. (Ironically, since my blogging lapse here, my blog traffic has increased by between 100 and 200 percent!) The point is, there’s still plenty here to read. 🙂

Back in the saddle soon.
