You might want to try Disqus.com to manage your comments. They are flexible and might meet your needs?
Thanks for the heads-up, KB. Hadn’t really thought about the email comment function. I’ll look into a solution…either Disqus or plug-in of some sort.
Follow-up. I just installed a plug in that lets you subscribe to followup comments by email. We’ll try that out for awhile, while I look at other options.
