It appears that the wildly popular daytime live talk show “The View” is to be cancelled, effective immediately.
Known for previous bouts of infighting among its hosts–the most publicized being the volitile behavior of former host Rosie O’Donnell–after today’s show, apparently words were exchanged between Whoopie Goldberg and Elisabeth Hasselbeck, which escalated into physical contact involving all the hosts. This has prompted ABC to pull the show.
The cameras were still running after today’s show went off the air, and the entire altercation was caught on tape. For more information on this develping story, and to view the video, click here.
