Categories: off the map, What the heck was THAT?

Hello from Denver.
I am blogging today from the Off the Map Conference.
That’s right.
From the main venue.
During the opening event.
I’m not blogging from my cell phone. I’ve got my laptop on. In “church.”
This is very new to me. I’m not used to people letting me have my laptop on in a church-type meeting.

But Off the Map encourages it.
They are providing the free wi-fi.
They also tell you to leave your cell phones on.

I feel so postmodern.

I’ll keep checking in…

Musician. Composer. Recovering perfectionist. Minister-in-transition. Lover of puns. Hijacker of rock song references. Questioner of the status quo. I'm not really a rebel. Just a sincere Christ-follower with a thirst for significance that gets me into trouble. My quest has taken me over the fence of institutional Christianity. Here are some of my random thoughts along the way. Read along, join in the conversation. Just be nice.

Have they told you that you can also text-message questions to the speakers?

I know, OTM puts on a great gig. I wasn’t able to make it to one this year, so I live vicariously through those who “live blog”.

    I love this Jeff:

..so often speakers project such a self-importance telling you to turn your phones off.
